What are anti-static shoes

Anti-static shoes are a kind of work shoes worn by production workshops and advanced laboratories of microelectronics industries such as electronic semiconductor devices, electronic computers, electronic communication equipment, and integrated circuits to reduce or eliminate electrostatic hazards.
Anti-static shoes can guide static electricity from the human body to the ground, thereby eliminating static electricity on the human body, and at the same time effectively suppress the dust generated by people walking in the clean room.
Instructions for use of anti-static shoes
1. Anti-static shoes are protective shoes that eliminate the static electricity of the human body and prevent electric shocks below 250V. This product is produced according to the GB4385-1995 standard.
2. It is mainly applicable to places where there is static electricity hazards (such as petroleum, chemical industry, coal mine, printing,
workplaces in rubber, medical, purification, electronics and other industries)
3. Anti-static shoes and conductive shoes should not be worn with insulating thick wool socks and insulating insoles at the same time. It is forbidden to use anti-static shoes as insulating shoes.
4. The place where anti-static shoes are used should be an anti-static ground, and the place where conductive shoes are used should be a conductive ground to achieve a good anti-static or conductive effect.
5. Anti-static shoes should be used together with anti-static clothing. Pay attention to the cleanliness, waterproof and moisture-proof of the product.
6. The resistance test should be carried out once within 200 hours during the wearing process. If the resistance is not within the specified range, it cannot be used as anti-static leather shoes. Anti-static shoes require that the resistance should be between 100K ohms and 1000M ohms.
